What is TRE®?

Tension, Stress, and Trauma Release Exercises (or TRE®) is a simple and innovative somatic trauma therapy technique designed to assist the body in releasing deeply rooted muscular tension patterns associated with tension, stress, and trauma. The practice involves a series of exercises that facilitate the onset of involuntary neurogenic tremors as a vehicle for deep muscular tension release. TRE was developed by Dr. David Berceli and is practiced in over 30 countries.

TRE is facilitated in a safe and controlled environment allowing the nervous system to release tension patterns and return to a state of calm and balance. The benefits of TRE practice are wide-ranging, some of which include:
