The Ideal Diet While Microdosing
Microdosing psychedelics is a gateway that facilitates a deeper sense of connection to our bodies' innate wisdom. As we cultivate a deeper connection with the body, we are empowered to make more supportive and beneficial choices with our diet.
My #1 recommendation to microdosing clients is to tune in, listen, and respond to your body’s needs each given day. Simply put, there is no one-size-fits-all dietary regimen for microdosing. With that said, the following dietary principles tend to best support your microdosing lifestyle:
- Avoid large meals before dosing
- Avoid dairy products
- Avoid red meats
- Avoid all processed sugars
- Limit stimulants (caffeine, Adderall, etc)
- Eat small light meals packed with fresh organic greens and vegetables
- Fasting is not recommended
